Frequently asked questions

  1. From the landing page, drag the XO logo to the XO logo with your child’s name.
  2. If prompted, enter child password. This will take you to the Dream Screen.
  1. From the landing page, drag the XO Logo from the center of the screen to the Android Bot on the left side.
  2. If prompted, enter parental password and press done. This will take you to the Android Mode.
  1. From the Dream Screen in Child mode, press the Settings Icon in the upper left corner
  2. In the menu that loads on the left side of the tablet, select “Parents”.
  3. If prompted, enter parental password and press done.
  4. Press “Change Password”
  5. Enter the new password twice and tap “OK.” You can also disable the password by unchecking the box next to “enable password.”

  2. In the top right corner, tap the “forgot password”
  3. If prompted, enter parental password and press done.
  4. On the left side, select password and choose a new password for your child.
  5. You can also disable password by unchecking the box which says enable password
  1. From the Dream Screen in Child Mode, press the Settings Icon in the upper left corner.
  2. Make sure that google play is on. If it is it will be in the menu on the left side of your screen.
  3. If not, you must turn it on. To do so, select parents on the left side. Then select the name of your child and tap the google play icon until it says google play is on.
  4. If prompted, sign into your existing google account or create a new one.
  5. Select a category in the play store.
  6. Select an app or game to download and enter the app screen.
  7. Select Install to download and install the app on the top right corner of the app screen.
  8. When install is complete, press the Settings Icon in the upper left corner of the Dream Screen
  9. In the menu that loads on the left side of the tablet, select “Parents”.
  10. If prompted, enter parental password and press done.
  11. Select the name of your child in the menu
  12. Select Block Apps
  13. Unblock the app you installed by tapping it
  14. To access the apps, select the app view icon in the top right corner.
From Parent Mode
  1. From the Android Mode in Parent Mode, press the squares icon in the top right corner
  2. Scroll through all your available apps
  3. You can press and hold an app to create a shortcut on the main screen.
From Child Mode
  1. From the Dream Screen in Child Mode, select the app view icon in the top right corner.
  2. Scroll through all available apps.
  1. From the Dream Screen in Child Mode, press the Settings Icon in the upper left corner.
  2. In the menu that loads on the left side of the tablet, select “Parents”.
  3. If prompted, enter parental password and press done.
  4. Select the name of your child in the menu
  5. If you’d like to adjust access to certain apps, tap “block apps.”
  6. Select the apps you wish to select
  7. If you’d like to disable internet for your child, tap “internet is on” to change it until it reads “internet is off.” Internet is on gives full access to the internet. Internet is off turns off all access to internet. Internet is only for apps allows internet for apps and google play only.
  8. If you’d like to remove access to the Google Play Store, tap “Google Play is on” until it reads “Google Play is off”
  9. If you’d like to remove access to the Google Talk, tap “Google Talk is on” to change it to “Google Talk is off”
  10. To edit the user account, tap “Edit Child.” There you can edit name, password and photo
  11. To remove this account, tap “Remove Child”
  1. From Android Mode in Parent Mode, select the Google Play Store icon
  2. If you have an existing Google Account, tap “Existing” to proceed to sign in to Google. Sign in and press the right arrow. Note: if you have a Gmail address, you have a Google Account.
  3. If you do not have a Google Account, tap “New” and you will be prompted to create an account. Provide your name, create a username, create a password and enter it twice, choose a security question and the answer. You can join google+ or choose not now. If prompted, enter the authorization code. You can add a credit card or choose not now.
  4. Enjoy full access to the google play store.
  1. On the Dream Screen, locate your child. Your child will be the first Dream on the top row. Tap on the XO logo for your child.
  2. Tap “XO Usage”
  3. You will see each Dream with a percentage of time that is spent in that particular Dream.
  4. Tap on any of the Dreams to see more details.
  1. From the Dream Screen in Child Mode, press the Settings Icon in the upper left corner.
  2. In the menu that loads on the left side of the tablet, select “Parents”.
  3. If prompted, enter parental password and press done.
  4. Select the name of your child in the menu
  5. Make sure that internet is on or that internet is on for apps by pressing next to the google chrome icon.
  6. Select ‘Google Play is off’ next to the google play icon to switch Google Play on. Once this has been selected, it will change to read ‘Google Play is on.’
  7. On the menu on the left, select Google Play.
  8. Enjoy full access to the Google Play store! Note: Make sure to unblock app purchases in the parent menu by selecting your child’s name and then pressing “block apps”
  1. From the Dream Screen in Child Mode, press the Settings Icon in the upper left corner.
  2. In the menu that loads on the left side of the tablet, select “Parents”.
  3. If prompted, enter parental password and press done.
  4. Select the name of your child in the menu
  5. Tap next to the Chrome icon until it reads “Internet is On”
From Parent Mode
  1. From Android Mode in Parent mode, tap the time in the lower right hand corner. A menu will pop up.
  2. On the right side of the menu, you will see the Settings icon (3 horizontal stripes with sliders). Tap on the Settings icon, which will take you to the settings page for the tablet.
  3. On the left side under “Wireless and Networks,” locate “Wi-Fi” and use the slider to adjust the setting to “ON.” This will show all the available networks.
  4. You may need to select your Wi-Fi network and enter your password. If you are having difficulty, check that the signal strength icon (cone shaped) shows that the wireless connection is strong.
From Child Mode
  1. From the Dream Screen in Child Mode, press the Settings Icon in the upper left corner.
  2. In the menu that loads on the left side of the tablet, select “Parents”.
  3. If prompted, enter parental password and press done.
  4. Select the name of your child in the menu
  5. Tap next to the google chrome icon until it reads “Internet is on.” This gives full internet access to the child.
  6. To allow child to configure wifi, tap settings.
  7. Check the box next to wifi access.
  8. Now your child can connect to wifi without the parental password.
From Parent Mode
  1. From the Android Mode in Parent Mode, select either the browser icon or the Chrome icon
  2. Begin surfing the web
From Child Mode
  1. From the Dream Screen in Child Mode, press the Settings Icon in the upper left corner.
  2. Make sure that internet is on in parental controls. To do so, tap parents in the menu on the left side. If prompted, enter your password and press done. Select the name of your child. Next to the chrome logo it should say “internet is on.” If not, tap until it does.
  3. Select “Internet” from the menu on the left side
  4. Select either Browser or Chrome
  5. Begin surfing the web. Note: parental supervision is always recommended when children are using the internet.
  1. From the Dream Screen in Child Mode, press the Settings Icon in the upper left corner.
  2. In the menu that loads on the left side of the tablet, select “Parents”.
  3. If prompted, enter parental password and press done.
  4. Tap “Add Child”
  5. Fill out child’s information
From Parent Mode
  1. From Android Mode in Parent mode, tap the time in the lower right hand corner. A menu will pop up.
  2. On the right side of the menu, you will see the Settings icon (3 horizontal stripes with sliders). Tap on the Settings icon, which will take you to the settings page for the tablet.
  3. Modify the Tablet Setting of your choice.
From Child Mode
  1. From the Dream Screen, tap the time in the lower right hand corner. A menu will pop up.
  2. On the right side of the menu, you will see the Settings icon (3 horizontal stripes with sliders). Tap on the Settings icon, which will take you to the settings page for the tablet.
  3. If prompted, enter your parental password and press done.
  4. Modify the tablet setting of your choice.
  1. From Android Mode in Parent mode, tap the time in the lower right hand corner. A menu will pop up.
  2. On the right side of the menu, you will see the Settings icon (3 horizontal stripes with sliders). Tap on the Settings icon, which will take you to the settings page for the tablet.
  3. On the left side of the menu, scroll down and select add account
  4. Select email
  5. Enter your email account information
From Parent Mode
  1. From Android Mode in Parent Mode, press the squares icon on the top right corner of your screen.
  2. Select the Camera App
From Child Mode
  1. In the top right corner of the Dream Screen in Child Mode, select the App View Icon
  2. Select the Camera App
  1. From the Dream Screen in Child Mode, press the Settings Icon in the upper left corner.
  2. In the menu that loads on the left side of the tablet, select “Parents”.
  3. If prompted, enter parental password and press done.
  4. Select the name of your child in the menu
  5. Press Edit Child.
  6. Press password on the left side and type in the new password
  1. From the Dream Screen in Child Mode, press the Settings Icon in the upper left corner.
  2. In the menu that loads on the left side of the tablet, select “Parents”.
  3. If prompted, enter parental password and press done.
  4. Select the change password icon and type in your new password or disable password by unchecking the box next to “enable password.”
  5. Tap OK.
  1. From the Dream Screen in Child Mode, press the Settings Icon in the upper left corner.
  2. In the menu that loads on the left side of the tablet, select “Espanol” to change to Spanish.
  3. Now the Dream Screen, the settings, and the Apps will be changed to Spanish.
  4. To change back to English return to that menu and select English.
